Job Title: Landscape Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at Contessa Landscaping Ltd. as a key member of our landscaping crew.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist with landscape constructions, weed, prune and trim trees and plants, cut grass, rake and collect refuse, cart and spread topsoil and other materials, lay sod or seed, plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees, apply fertilizers, repair and maintain equipment, and water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and weeding.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, such as lawn mowers and trimmers.
  • Perform manual labour tasks, such as raking, collecting refuse, and spreading topsoil.
  • Assist with laying sod or seed, and planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Apply fertilizers and other chemicals as required.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience an asset.
  • Permanent employment.
  • 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language.
Working Conditions:
