About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Landscape Labourer to join our team at Contessa Landscaping Ltd. as a key member of our grounds maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and rakes.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, ensuring they receive the necessary care and attention.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, including tools and machinery.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as required.
  • Lay sod or seed, and apply fertilizers to promote healthy growth.
  • Assist with weeding, pruning, and trimming tasks to maintain a high level of presentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Experience in landscape labouring or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance.
  • Ability to follow instructions and take direction.
