Job Overview:

The Senior Network Architect role demands a profound understanding of contemporary network technologies, broadband connectivity options, network frameworks, internet protocols, and network security. The ideal candidate will possess substantial hands-on experience in designing and implementing advanced networks and security solutions, as well as in analyzing, configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting software-defined networking (SDN) solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer expert guidance and consultancy on the collection and analysis of diverse network-related data.

Required Skills:

  • Network Technology Expertise:
  • Over 5 years of practical experience with network infrastructure technologies, including LAN/WAN, VPN, VLAN, WLAN, and hardware components such as servers, switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • More than 5 years of hands-on experience with software-defined networking (SDN, SD-WAN), particularly with platforms like Fortinet, Meraki, and Palo Alto.
  • Network Security Proficiency:
  • 5+ years of experience in advanced SD network security practices.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with next-generation firewalls, endpoint protection, and cloud security solutions.
  • Communication and Coordination Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively present to management and external stakeholders, with over 5 years of experience.
  • Educational Background and Certifications:
  • Preferred postgraduate degree in computer science or engineering.
  • Relevant vendor certifications such as AWS, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or advanced networking certifications.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of practical experience with software-defined networking (SDN, SD-WAN).
  • 5+ years of experience in data performance monitoring and management systems.
  • 5+ years of experience with network traffic monitoring and analysis tools.
  • 5+ years of experience in advanced SD network security.
  • Proven hands-on experience with SASE platforms and solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience in creating written materials such as reports and recommendations.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and delivering technical solutions and training to public service entities is preferred.
