About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hairdressing Salon Supervisor to join our team at MUSTAYS BRAIDING PLACE INC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and Coordinate Events: Plan and schedule events, programs, and activities to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the salon.
  • Workforce Management: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of workers, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Client Support: Assist clients with special needs, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Emergency Response: Be the point of contact for emergency situations, responding promptly and effectively to ensure the well-being of clients and staff.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit progress reports, requisition materials and equipment, and maintain accurate records.
  • Staff Development: Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
Work Environment

The Hairdressing Salon Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong organizational and communication skills. The role involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with regular breaks to maintain productivity and comfort.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
