Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Credit Analyst to join our team. As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing financial statements, assessing risk, and providing recommendations to support credit decisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze financial statements and credit reports to assess creditworthiness and risk.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to gather information and provide credit support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate credit risk.
- Prepare and present credit recommendations to senior management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Intermediate accounting and financial statement analysis skills.
- Basic credit skills, including financial modeling and risk assessment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual (English & French) language skills considered an asset.
