About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at IHAUL FREIGHT SYSTEM INC. as a key member of our maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Quality Control: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to industry standards.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Specialized Repair: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems, requiring advanced technical knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in heavy equipment repair or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
