AVP - Senior Auditor - Risk & Control Transformation at SenseabilityThe Senior Auditor role is a mid-level position tasked with conducting moderately complex audits and evaluations of Senseability's risk and control frameworks in collaboration with the Audit team. The primary aim is to leverage extensive subject matter expertise to aid in the formulation of innovative techniques and processes that align with the company's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct moderately complex audits, including the preparation of audit reports, presenting findings to the business, and discussing actionable solutions.
- Draft audit reports and present findings while engaging in discussions about practical cross-functional solutions.
- Complete assigned audits within established timeframes and budgetary constraints.
- Monitor, evaluate, and propose solutions to emerging risks.
- Contribute to the enhancement of audit processes, including the creation of automated routines.
- Apply internal audit standards, policies, and regulations to deliver timely audit assurance and influence audit scope.
- Develop strong relationships with line management to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the business.
- Operate with a limited level of direct supervision, exercising independence of judgment and autonomy.
- Act as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and team members.
- Assess risks associated with business decisions, demonstrating a commitment to the company's reputation and safeguarding its assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
- Expertise in the application of audit technology.
- Effective influencing and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to maintain objectivity in a diverse working environment.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
