Tulloch is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Geotechnical Engineering Technician to support our engineering team in various aspects of project delivery. As a key member of our team, you will assist Project Managers in all aspects of project delivery, contribute to preliminary and detailed design and drawing preparation, participate in site investigations, and perform soil classification, borehole logging, and sampling.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in all aspects of project delivery, including project planning, coordination, and execution.
- Contribute to the preparation of preliminary and detailed designs, drawings, and reports for geotechnical engineering projects.
- Participate in site investigations, including soil classification, borehole logging, and sampling.
- Perform construction inspection and monitoring activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Assist with geotechnical modeling and data analysis to support project decision-making.
- Prepare and submit reports and documents as required.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a relevant field of study (Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Mining Engineering, or Natural Resources).
- Experience in the use of analytical and design software, including AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of geotechnical analysis and modeling software is an asset.
- High motivation with results-oriented focus.
- Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
- Unwavering commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid Class G driver's licence.
