About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Dental Assistant to join our team at Accent Dental. As a key member of our dental support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Support: Prepare patients for dental examinations, order dental and office supplies, and prepare dental instruments and filling materials.
  • Instrument Maintenance: Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our patients.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients concerning oral hygiene, including polishing teeth and applying fluoride and sealant.
  • Administrative Tasks: Record dental procedures performed on patients, invoice patients for dental services, and take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts.
Requirements
  • Certification: Registration with provincial or territorial authorities and certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Availability: Availability to work 32 hours per week.
