Position Background and Responsibilities

We are building a new team in Canada to develop our next-generation smart AI editor, which will enable users to create high-quality video content with ease. As a Software Engineer on this team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust features that enhance user growth and product value.

You will work closely with our product, marketing, and data teams to brainstorm, plan, and deploy features that meet the evolving needs of our users. Your analytical skills will be essential in interpreting data, identifying trends, and making informed decisions that drive growth.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in software engineering
  • Fast learner and self-starter with a broad range of tech skills
  • Strong product and business sense, with the ability to build products based on customer needs
  • Good understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
Preferred Experiences
  • Experience with successful user growth or traffic acquisition projects
  • Experience with analytics tools, such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel
  • Previously built products as an individual developer, with a strong portfolio of side projects
