Position Overview:
The role of Maintenance Technician, under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, focuses on the assessment, installation, repair, and replacement of mechanical systems within the facility. Key duties also encompass the servicing of pumps, motors, cranes, and hydraulic/pneumatic apparatus, along with maintaining comprehensive records of all tasks completed. The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Mechanic/Millwright and have a background in a heavy manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, install, repair, and replace mechanical systems.
- Service and maintain pumps, motors, cranes, and hydraulic/pneumatic apparatus.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Qualification (Industrial Mechanic/Millwright).
- Preferred experience in heavy manufacturing environments.
- Mechanical proficiency with knowledge of Bearings, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Lubrication, and Rotating Equipment.
- Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
- Basic proficiency in computer operations.
