About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk Manager to play a key role in the development of our credit scoring capabilities and drive the growth of our consumer loan portfolio. As a Senior Credit Risk Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the development, enhancement, and monitoring of all credit scores used in the entire lifecycle of credit, including acquisitions, adjudication, credit limit assignment, portfolio management, collections, fraud, and loss forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement credit risk strategies that drive business growth while maintaining a strong risk profile.
  • Design and implement predictive models, regression modeling, credit modeling, and decision trees to enhance credit scoring capabilities.
  • Work closely with business leaders to drive analytically based strategies and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including credit risk, operations, and sales teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a consumer lending environment, with a strong background in credit risk management.
  • Proven track record of building and implementing predictive models, regression modeling, and credit modeling.
  • Experience with R, Matlab, Python, or Base SAS programming languages.
  • Demonstrated understanding of credit scores and their use in business strategies, post-implementation use, and monitoring.
  • Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analytic recommendations into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Education in Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Risk Management, Financial Engineering, or Statistical Modeling.
