PSP Investments is one of Canada's largest pension investment managers, with CAD$264.9 billion of net assets as of March 31, 2024. We invest funds for the pension plans of the federal public service, the Canadian Forces, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and the Reserve Force.

About the Team

Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team acts as a financial advisor and business partner to support the decision-making process in the organization. We analyze complex firm-wide data and develop narratives and visuals to support the storytelling and decision-making process.

About Your Role

As an Intern in the FP&A team, you will:

  1. Analyze monthly and quarterly results, documenting variances, trends, and projections.
  2. Contribute to financial analysis presentations to provide quarterly updates to different groups.
  3. Ensure monthly updates of reporting templates and models, including data validation.
  4. Perform other financial planning and analysis tasks as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or Data Analytics.
  2. Attention to detail and a rigorous approach to research, analysis, and documentation.
  3. Proficiency in English and French (or willingness to learn).
  4. Expertise in Microsoft applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  5. Must return to studies after the internship or the internship must be part of your curriculum.
