About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team at Sangha Insulated Doors Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal components for our high-quality insulated doors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Laying Out and Assembling Metal Components
    • Accurately lay out reference points and patterns for metal fabrication
    • Assemble and fit metal plates and sections to form structures
  • Metalworking and Fabrication
    • Weld or bolt metal sections together to create strong and durable structures
    • Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines to precision-cut and shape metal components
  • Quality Control and Safety
    • Inspect and test metal components to ensure quality and accuracy
    • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field
  • Language and Work Environment
    • Fluent in English
    • 40 hours per week, permanent position
