About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Lead to join our team at Once Upon A Child. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Merchandise Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and display of merchandise, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and that the store is visually appealing.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Analyze sales data and develop strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Store Operations: Manage store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, inventory management, and maintenance of store appearance.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with sales associates, management, and corporate office, ensuring that all parties are informed of store operations and sales performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a retail sales or management role
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong analytical skills
Work Environment

Our retail store is a fast-paced environment where you will be working in a team to provide excellent customer service and sales performance. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
