Job Title: Community Consultant

At the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, we're building a relationship-oriented bank for the modern world. As a Community Consultant, you will be accountable for enhancing the CAM ecosystem and creating the solution design for new initiatives, contributing to the overall design strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively and accurately translate functional and non-functional business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Provide comprehensive senior-level technical consulting to other IT senior management and technical teams.
  • Understand the business requirements and translate them into system and application design that is aligned with our technology roadmap.
  • Design and document the technical functionality, infrastructure, interfaces, and integrations.
  • Contribute to technology roadmaps that are aligned with the bank's vision, strategy, and business objectives.
  • Lead multiple complex technology solutions while maintaining consistency across the platform, adopting best practices, and pushing forward continuous improvements.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years as a Solution or Technical Architect/Consultant.
  • Excellent knowledge of various types of technologies, deeply aware of new trends and new industry tech stacks.
  • Experience providing guidance to technical teams, creating executive decks independently, and are well-versed at presenting to project teams as well as executives.
  • Experience working with business and architecture teams to develop and design technology solutions.
  • Solid experience with a variety of technologies/frameworks including event-driven architecture, API, DevOps pipelines, etc.
