Job Title: Senior Technology Architect

Duration: 5 months Contract

Pay Range: C$800 - C$900 /Day

Are you a passionate Data Architect looking to shape the future of data-driven solutions? GTT, LLC is seeking a skilled Senior Technology Architect to play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable, efficient data architectures.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, recommend, and implement technical architectures for large-scale, distributed cross-platform environments.
  • Identify relevant information and determine appropriate development environments.
  • Lead the development and implementation of technical architectures.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand and address their data needs.
  • Design, construct, maintain, and troubleshoot data architectures.
  • Develop and manage data pipelines using languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Leverage technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka for distributed systems.
  • Transform raw data into useful formats and ensure data quality.
  • Optimize the performance of data systems.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources, including external databases and APIs.
  • Design scalable systems to handle large-scale data efficiently.
  • Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to collaborative projects.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in data architecture design and implementation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with distributed systems technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
  • Strong understanding of data transformation, cleaning, and quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of data storage solutions (SQL and NoSQL databases).
  • Experience with data integration and scalability.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
