We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated physiotherapist to join our team at Advanced Health & Sports Clinic: Parksville.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' physical abilities, planning physiotherapy programs, and selecting appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
- Plan and implement physiotherapy programs to improve mobility, strength, and function
- Select and use appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations to achieve treatment goals
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical and progress reports
- Teach and supervise patients in exercises and activities to promote independence and self-management
- Administer evaluative tests and procedures to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
The physiotherapist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or related field
- Experience in sports therapy, orthopedics, or manipulative therapy an asset
