Job Title: Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Advanced Health & Sports Clinic: Parksville.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' physical abilities, planning physiotherapy programs, and selecting appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Plan and implement physiotherapy programs to improve patient mobility and function
  • Select and use appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical and progress reports
  • Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients to promote independence and self-management
  • Administer evaluative tests and procedures to assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Work Environment:

The Physiotherapist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Current registration with the relevant professional association
  • Experience in sports therapy, orthopedics, and manipulative therapy an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
