Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Tradespersons and Apprentices: Provide support to our experienced tradespersons and apprentices in the repair and maintenance of vehicles, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Move Equipment and Materials: Safely move tools, equipment, and other materials as required to support the repair and maintenance process.
  • Signal Safety Procedures: Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Clean Work Areas: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Work Environment

As an Automobile Body Repairer Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced garage environment with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will be required to work in a noisy, dusty, and hot environment, and will be expected to handle heavy loads and work under pressure.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work requiring a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, organized, reliability, and a team player.
