Job Title: Automobile Body Repairer Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and organized Automobile Body Repairer Assistant to join our team at Q-Tires Plus Inc. As an Automobile Body Repairer Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in the garage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.

Work Environment:

The work site environment is noisy, dusty, and hot. You will be required to work in a garage setting and be willing to relocate as needed.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads.
  • Physically demanding work requiring combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.

Security and Safety:

A criminal record check is required for this position.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.

Weight Handling:

You will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as part of your duties.
