Description:

As a Health Care Aide with Alberta Health Services, you will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, working in our Home Care department to provide high-quality care to our community, country, and lodge clients. You will work closely with patients, families, and caregivers to deliver safe, patient-centered care that reflects the shared vision and values of AHS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal assistance and support activities of daily living to patients who require short-term assistance or ongoing support.
  • Work collaboratively with patients, families, and caregivers to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment that promotes patient dignity and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Active directory status on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory.
  • Confirmation letter as proof of enrolment from the Directory.
  • Nursing students currently enrolled in an approved Alberta nursing program who have successfully completed a minimum of 100 hours of practicum.

Preferred Qualifications:

As required.
