Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging learning environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement child-care programs that meet the unique needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans
  • Assist with housekeeping and cooking duties
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
  • Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe environment
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
