Job Summary:

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty Instructor to teach introductory courses in a face-to-face or online setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and creating syllabi, lectures, in-class discussions, and assignments, as well as grading student work and assessing student progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach introductory courses in a face-to-face or online setting
  • Plan and create syllabi, lectures, in-class discussions, and assignments
  • Grade student work and assess student progress
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote learning

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in a substantive area
  • Previous teaching experience at the university level as an Adjunct Professor or similar role
  • Excellent classroom management, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching online courses
  • Knowledge of educational technology and its applications in the classroom
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and inclusive environment
