Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Manager to join our team at Heritage Transport Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation department, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Manage finances or budget to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure transport compliance with regulations, maintaining a high level of integrity and adherence to industry standards.
  • Policies and Standards: Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring consistency and quality across all operations.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise a team of more than 20 people, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high levels of performance and job satisfaction.
  • Security and Safety: Maintain basic security clearance and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and maintain a high level of physical fitness.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate accurate, flexible, and organized behavior, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience: Possess 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of transportation management principles and practices.
Requirements
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
