Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Supervisor to join our team at Canamex-Carbra Transportation Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including the coordination of activities with other work units or departments.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management, providing insights and recommendations to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise a team of 16-20 employees, providing guidance, training, and performance reviews to ensure high levels of performance.
  • Material Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing disruptions to operations.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Windows.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organized, reliability, and team player.
