About the Role

Spark Power Corp is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Business Analyst to join our team in Oakville. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize applications and business processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the collection and translation of complex business requirements into detailed system and technical requirements.
  • Promote progress and desired outcomes on assigned projects.
  • Lead and contribute to application and solution design workshops in collaboration with internal and external resources.
  • Act as a key resource in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Life Cycle.
  • Maintain objectivity with own work to ensure solutions are aligned and consistent with business objectives.
  • Raise and escalate any issues and concerns with IT management and/or business process owners.
  • Advise stakeholders to make data-driven decisions and value-focused recommendations.
Requirements
  • University or post-graduate education in a business or STEM discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in an Implementation consulting or Business Analyst capacity.
  • Background or experience with accounting and financial processes is a strong asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively understand and refine business requirements.
  • Experience in NetSuite or other ERPs such as Oracle Cloud ERP, JDE, SAP S/4HANA is a strong asset.
  • Established understanding of change management is a strong asset.
  • Experience in delivering business solutions in an agile environment is an asset.
  • Experience in analyzing data, queries, and reports to support root cause analysis of reported issues.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on the production of quality.
  • Ability to manage deliverables across multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio, Wireframing Tools.
