Senior Surveyor

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Surveyor to join our team at Aecon on the Darlington New Nuclear Project. As a key member of our survey team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of survey work on the Nuclear and Conventional Islands.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement survey plans and procedures to ensure high precision industrial mechanical and equipment layout.
- Coordinate control and resources between project bundles to manage survey support of construction schedule priorities.
- Provide input and approve safety plans and procedures for survey and inspection tasks.
- Implement and enforce safety, quality, and human performance programs.
- Ensure survey personnel complete all necessary training in areas of safety, quality assurance, technical qualifications, equipment operation, and owner-specified requirements.
- Review and provide support in the creation of survey quality, progress, or as-built documentation.
- Interface with client representatives, design engineers, consultants, and other contractors.
- Minimum of 5-7 years industrial surveying experience.
- 2 years nuclear construction experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of all aspects of industrial survey, including high precision plant control networks adjustment, high precision instruments, and quality assurance programs.
- Ability to read and understand construction plans, isometrics, and specifications.
