About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Foam Insulation Specialist to join our team at Spaar. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for applying and securing insulation materials to ensure a high-quality finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Insulation Application: Select and apply the correct type of insulation material to meet the project requirements.
  • Measurement and Cutting: Measure and cut insulation materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
  • Installation and Securing: Apply and secure insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, and taping.
  • Obstruction Fitting: Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs to ensure a seamless finish.
  • Vapour Barrier Installation: Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials to meet project specifications.
  • Removable Insulation Pads: Fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers as required.
  • Scaffolding and Rigging: Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment to access hard-to-reach areas.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Hold an Occupational Health and Safety Certificate and a valid Driver's License.
  • Training: Complete a Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically fit to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Conditions: Work in a variety of environments, including outdoors, and be able to stand for extended periods.
