Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at PHSS Support Services. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in using accounting software, such as ACCPAC, and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Area of Specialization: Accounting, with a focus on financial record keeping and financial statement preparation.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: On-site customer service or head office.
  • Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.
