About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Sultan Construction Ltd. as a Project Supervisor. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing land survey and construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Supervision: Act as project supervisor for land survey or construction work, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Client Communication: Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team to determine project requirements and ensure that their needs are met.
  • Construction Planning: Develop construction specifications and procedures, and ensure that construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations.
  • Scheduling: Establish and monitor construction work schedules to ensure that projects are completed on time.
  • Material Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend appropriate building and construction materials for use on projects.
  • Contract Management: Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for construction projects.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster, and provide support to help them integrate into our team.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, and promote a culture of inclusivity and respect.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
