Job Summary

The Parts Person is responsible for managing the inventory of parts, ensuring accurate records, and maintaining a well-organized stockroom. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Receive, store, and issue parts as needed
  • Conduct regular stockroom audits to ensure accuracy and organization
  • Collaborate with the Transportation Manager/Shop Foreman to ensure efficient parts management
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
Working Conditions

This role is based in the Red Deer Catholic Transportation department and requires occasional collaboration with other teams. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
