Home Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Caregiver to join our team at Meetendra Baddha. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a family setting.
Key Responsibilities- Child Care and Development: Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
- Household Management: Assist with household chores, meal preparation, and light housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized home.
- Education and Activities: Engage children in educational activities, games, and outings to promote learning and development.
- Health and Hygiene: Maintain accurate records of children's health information, administer medication as needed, and promote good hygiene practices.
- Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and comfort to children, helping them to develop emotional intelligence and resilience.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure seamless care and support for children.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Experience an asset
- Work Setting: Employer's home
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, patience
This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
