Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution

Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions, utilizing computer equipment and GPS technology.

Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection

Oversee the condition of vehicles, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Cargo Management

Load and unload goods, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.

Customer Service and Communication

Provide professional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and courteous manner.

Documentation and Record-Keeping

Accurately complete and maintain various documents, including accident reports, bills of lading, driver logbooks, inspection reports, and maintenance records.

Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Physical stamina to perform duties in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with GPS and other navigation equipment
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel and varying weather conditions.
