R&D Engineering Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented R&D Engineering Associate to join our team at Boston Scientific. As a key member of our Research and Development Engineering Department, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of cutting-edge medical devices through prototyping, testing, and 3D modeling.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test medical devices.
- Conduct verification and validation testing to ensure design requirements and concepts are met.
- Prepare regulatory filings and support clinical trials of devices.
- Develop and provide technical documentation, including drawings and work instructions.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA regulations.
- Actively enrolled in a degree in Engineering or a recent graduate from an Engineering degree.
- Strong interest in biomedical technology and a motivated self-starter with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Six Sigma or LEAN knowledge and experience with SolidWorks and Minitab.
- Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment and knowledge of ISO 13485.
