R&D Engineer Manager

We are seeking an experienced Associate R&D Engineer Manager to lead a team of R&D Engineers in the design and development of next-generation steerable sheaths for Access Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring program objectives are met, logistics are effectively coordinated, and budgets are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and mentor direct reports through training, challenging tasks, and constructive feedback.
- Provide technical guidance to support complex problem identification, root cause analysis, and problem-solving.
- Review and ensure accuracy of design, risk, and other relevant PDP phase deliverables.
- Develop innovative solutions to diverse engineering problems of high complexity.
- Lead by example and motivate technical team members to achieve project goals.
- Monitor daily work operations and provide direction and guidance to staff.
- Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential.
- Interact with customers through regular meetings, requests, and project updates.
- Engage in cross-functional discussions to drive results and efficiently execute activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline.
- 6+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in new product development of single-use medical devices.
- Experience as a Mentor and/or Coach.
- Detailed understanding of design control process per ISO 13485, 14971, IEC 62366.
- Superior communication skills and strong leadership skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, approx. 10-15%.
- Bachelor's and/or Master's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Experience as a Manager.
