  • Key Responsibilities
    • Drive as part of a two-person team or in a convoy.
    • Load and unload freight efficiently.
    • Operate and navigate straight or articulated trucks for transporting goods and materials.
    • Monitor vehicle condition and conduct inspections on tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
    • Perform thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all vehicle aspects are in order.
    • Communicate and relay information to central dispatch effectively.
    • Document cargo details, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel usage accurately.
    • Secure cargo with tarps and ensure its safety during transport.
  • Required Certifications
    • AZ class license is mandatory.
    • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement is required.
  • Documentation Proficiency
    • Knowledge of accident or incident reporting.
    • Familiarity with bills of lading.
    • Experience maintaining a driver logbook.
