We are seeking a dedicated and caring Child Care Worker Assistant to join our team at 2023366 ALBERTA LTD.

Job Summary:

The Child Care Worker Assistant will provide support to our early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This role involves assisting with daily activities, leading children in various tasks, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers
  • Engage children in storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Assist early childhood educators in keeping records and submitting written observations
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience or equivalent experience
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1) certification
  • Own transportation
Work Environment:

This role is based in a child care centre, before and after school programs, day care centre, or nursery school setting.
