Job Summary:

Teema Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at a Behavioral Health facility in Washington state. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing treatment and support to patients in a recovery center and/or ward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide treatment to patients in groups and/or 1:1s as needed, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Develop, plan, and prepare comprehensive active treatment groups and individual treatment strategies to promote patient recovery and independence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of professional Occupational Therapy experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Graduate of an Occupational Therapist program from an accredited institution.
  • Current unrestricted license as an Occupational Therapist in Washington state.
  • Current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
