Faculty of Adventure Studies Instructor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced instructor to join our team in the Faculty of Adventure Studies at Thompson Rivers University. As a part-time Sessional Faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of courses in the Adventure Studies department, including field and classroom courses.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the adventure industry, with a strong background in teaching and instruction. They will be able to design and deliver engaging and effective learning experiences for our students, and will be committed to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about adventure education and has a strong understanding of the adventure industry. The ideal candidate will have a relevant diploma or professional qualification, and will be certified at the instructor or examiner level in their area of expertise.

The Faculty of Adventure Studies is a dynamic and innovative department that is committed to providing high-quality education and training in the adventure industry. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to excellence in teaching and learning.

Responsibilities will include teaching a variety of courses, developing and implementing curriculum, and contributing to the development of the Faculty of Adventure Studies. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with other faculty members and staff to achieve the goals of the department.
