At SiteOne Landscape Supply, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Irrigation Department Manager to join our team. As a key member of our branch, you will be responsible for leading our irrigation team and driving sales and operations excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Branch Manager in developing and implementing sales and operations plans, including statistical demand forecasting and supply and demand planning.
  • Lead by example and promote a safe working environment, emphasizing daily safety practices and encouraging a strong safety culture.
  • Develop and execute inventory management strategies, target customer mix, and sales plans to drive business growth.
  • Create a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters teamwork and employee development.
  • Train and develop agronomic staff to be knowledgeable about irrigation products and customer needs, supporting departmental sales goals.
  • Partner with branch leadership to stay up-to-date on new technologies and best practices, driving business performance and innovation.
  • Support other branch departments and customers as needed, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in the green industry, with a strong understanding of irrigation products and systems.
  • Excellent customer service and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Experience with sales and operations planning, forecasting, and inventory management.
  • Strong accounting fundamentals, including debits, credits, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong focus on customer service and team leadership.
