Afresh Technologies, Inc. is a leading company in the industry, and we're looking for a seasoned data scientist to join our team. As a data scientist, you'll play a key role in driving business strategy and decision-making through data-driven insights.

Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled data scientist to partner with our Customer teams to measure and demonstrate the impact of our product. You'll work closely with stakeholders to develop effective success metrics, design experiments, and develop product analytics and data monitoring/alerting systems.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improvement
  • Partner with product and business teams to develop effective success metrics (OKRs from product level to company level)
  • Design experiments to measure the impact of new features on those metrics
  • Partner with engineering teams to develop product analytics and data monitoring/alerting systems
  • Partner with our machine learning teams for investigations and feature engineering
  • Become an expert in our data analytics pipelines and core metrics
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience (or Masters degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience or PhD with 1+ years of relevant work experience)
  • Experience with experimental design, econometrics, and/or causal inference is a plus but not required
  • Expert level skills at SQL (experience with dbt is a plus but not required)
  • Expertise with Python, R, or a similar data science scripting language
  • Experience with a standard data science software ecosystem: Jupyter Notebooks, pandas, scikit-learn; or RStudio, tidyverse, etc.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar
