At Applicantz, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team and drive business growth through data-driven insights. As a global leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software, we foster a progressive culture that values creativity, flexibility, and innovation.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll work on a variety of analytics-related projects that provide ML insights to our users. Your expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data mining will enable you to build models that influence product development, strategy, and roadmap prioritization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement machine learning pipelines that improve our evidence-based decision-making capabilities.
  • Partner with senior cross-functional leaders to ensure data-driven decisions across the organization.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to less-experienced team members.
  • Design and deploy machine learning-based solutions that drive business outcomes.
Requirements:
  • MS/PhD in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Statistics/Analytics, Computer Science, or other relevant fields).
  • 4+ years of industry experience in designing, analyzing, and deploying machine learning-based solutions.
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLM), NLP, and big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Hive).
  • Fluency with programming languages (Python, Java, Scala, etc.) and data science toolkits (pandas, Jupyter, scikit, TensorFlow, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical work to a non-technical audience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Self-starter with a passion for learning and innovation.
  • Familiarity with MLOps and ability to optimize ML workflows in production environments.
  • Experience leading research resulting in publications.
