Job Overview:

The Technical Training Specialist at Cgmeetup is responsible for managing and enhancing the training infrastructure, ensuring that our global studios are equipped with the necessary tools and resources for effective learning.

Position Highlights:

This role is classified as Hybrid, requiring the employee to work both onsite and remotely as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Management System - Confluence:
    • Enhance and support Confluence, our technical content management system, including necessary updates and upgrades.
    • Collaborate with developers to ensure optimal functionality of Confluence.
    • Stay informed about the latest web development tools.
    • Coordinate with technical staff across all studios to assess and fulfill training environment needs.
    • Ensure training directories are current and manage disk space effectively.
    • Modify scripts as required to ensure seamless operations and implement improvements.
    • Ingest production assets into the training environment and maintain asset management systems.
    • Assist trainers and trainees with resources and departmental procedures.
    • Facilitate the integration of new software and hardware into our pipelines.
  • Training Department Tool Suite:
    • Maintain and upgrade our tool suite as necessary.
    • Troubleshoot support inquiries related to the tools.
  • Training Department Support:
    • Assist the Studio Talent Group with various projects.
    • Update and maintain relevant Wordpress sites.
    • Post recordings and media updates as needed.
    • Participate in meetings to stay updated on technological advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least one year of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with film production and computer graphics is advantageous.
  • Strong scripting and programming skills, particularly in Python, C/C++, or Java.
  • Experience with 3D modeling/animation software, such as Maya.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
