Operations Supervisor

At RONA, we're looking for a skilled Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for leading a team of employees, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our warehouse, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, including mentoring and coaching
- Develop and implement workflows to meet delivery orders and scheduling requirements
- Assign work to team members based on available hours, skill sets, and other resources
- Work with the Customer Service team to coordinate loads and carriers
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety rules and procedures
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance facility performance
- Attend training courses to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to promote job enrichment and increase job satisfaction
- College degree in logistics, production and operations management, replenishment, administration, or a related field
- 5-7 years of supervisory or team leader experience in a similar position
- Proven team-building skills and ability to manage change well
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with others
- Experience working with an integrated warehouse management system (WMS) and transport management system (TMS)
