Position Overview

As an Automotive Body Repair Specialist at Grand Prix Auto & Service Ltd, you will play a crucial role in restoring vehicles to their original condition. Your expertise will ensure that our clients receive top-notch service and quality repairs.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in the auto body repair field is essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Replace and repair front-end components, body parts, doors, and underbody elements.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by filing, grinding, and sanding.
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces effectively.
  • Utilize tools to hammer out dents and imperfections.
  • Remove damaged parts and install new components through bolting or welding.
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces to restore appearance.
  • Repair or replace interior vehicle components as needed.
  • Mix paint and ensure color matching for seamless repairs.
  • Straighten bent frames using specialized equipment.
Certifications

Possession of an Auto Body Repairer Trade Certification is required.

Work Environment
  • This role is physically demanding, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work hours range from 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • The position is permanent and conducted primarily in English.
