Pizza Hut Food Counter Attendant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Pizza Hut. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, ensuring they are sanitized and ready for use
  • Keep records of food quantities used to optimize inventory and minimize waste
  • Package take-out food and prepare it for delivery or pickup
  • Portion and wrap foods to meet customer requests and dietary needs
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer expectations
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, providing a friendly and attentive service
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure a wide range of options for our guests
  • Take customers' orders and process payments efficiently and accurately
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, maintaining a high level of food safety and quality
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and responsibly
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment
  • Sharpen kitchen knives to ensure they are in good condition and ready for use
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare them for cooking and serving
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
  • Standing for extended periods, requiring physical stamina and endurance
Personal Suitability:
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience:
  • Will train and develop skills to become a proficient Food Counter Attendant
  • Permanent position with 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency required
