About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder-Fabricator to join our team at Kiwi Constructors Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and execute welding process specifications to ensure high-quality results.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, as well as brakes, shears, and other metal shaping and bending machines.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment safely and efficiently.
Requirements
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Propane in Construction Record of Training
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate
  • Forklift Operator Certification
Work Environment

Our team works in a fast-paced, industrial environment with a focus on commercial and institutional construction projects.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work in a dusty, hot, and noisy environment
