Position Overview

Linde is seeking a reliable and skilled Commercial Vehicle Operator (CDL) to join our team. We are dedicated to providing high-quality solutions in the industrial gases sector, and we need a professional who can contribute to our mission.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Transporting liquid and compressed noble gases safely and efficiently.
  • Conducting pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Loading, unloading, and securing cargo in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Participating in safety meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A valid CDL class license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; commercial driving experience is preferred.
  • Ability to operate vehicles transporting hazardous materials.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using technology, including electronic logs and Microsoft Office applications.
Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:

  • Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Engage in physical activities such as sitting, reaching, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Have specific vision abilities, including close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
