About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Timmins Gas & Car Wash Inc. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately recorded and that merchandise is properly displayed and rotated.
  • Merchandise Control: Authorize the return of merchandise, ensuring that returns are processed efficiently and that customers are satisfied with their experience.
  • Sales and Revenue: Sell merchandise to customers, meeting or exceeding sales targets and contributing to the overall revenue growth of the store.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights and recommendations to improve store performance.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their experience.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring that all areas of the store are tidy and well-maintained.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
